DF-AAA265 - Available in for COUPE and TARGA NSX modes.
Downforce USA hand crafted Carbon Fiber rear fuel tank under tray aero. Adds a a huge aerodynamic benefit to the rear of the vehicle by decreasing drag on the underbody. Design inspired by Mugen. Full carbon fiber construction, 5 layers, no fiberglass.

Can I buy this in fiberglass version?
No, we had tested fiberglass panels prior and the thickness requirement caused the panel to become too heavy. These fuel tanks are built from 5 layers of carbon fiber with no fiberglass backing.
What are the differences between the Coupe and Targa versions?
Only the hardware provided are different.
Is it safe to drill into the car?
All the dril points are marked on the part and will allow you to safely drill into the body without breaching any wiring harness, hoses, fluid lines, etc. There are not enough mounting points to use under the NSX to avoid this step. Even the original Mugen fuel tank cover required drilling into the chassis.
